Description
What I love about this stunning carpet is the fantastic, mid-blue main border which powerfully frames the madder-red ground. The border contains a continuous vine-leaf pattern, symbolising the eternal cycle of life.The carpet was made during the last quarter of the nineteenth century and is in good overall condition.
