Description

This charming little 'chanteh' (vanity-bag) comprises a simple yet effective, checker-board design of sky-blue and rose-red squares, complete with plain-weave back, in wide horizontal bands of different colours.
Made by Qashqa'i tribes in Fars, south-west Persia during the early 20th century, the bag is in excellent, complete condition.
Size: 22cm (9") square.
