The ivory central field depicts a wonderful 'tree-of-life' rising up with its roots in the underworld; the trunk in the earthly world and the branches in the realms of the spirits. The sky-blue main border contains stylised deer and birds. Finely knotted in kork wool on a cotton warp and weft.
