One of the most attractive aspects of 19th century Ferdows Baluch rugs, is the powerful arabesque border that frames a beautiful, glowing indigo-blue ground containing stylised flowers as can be seen here.Made circa 1880 by 'Baluch' tribes in the region of Ferdows in south-east Persia, this stunning rug is in good overall condition.
