Woven in overlay/underlay brocading on a dark-blue indigo ground with highlighting in white cotton, this rare little 'chanteh or vanity-bag was made by the Darrehshuri tayefeh (sub-tribe) of the Qashqa'i Confederacy around 1890-1900.Size: 20 x 18cm (8" x 7").
