I love the fabulous shades of madder-red, indigo-blues and turquoise in this beautiful rug, made by Afshar tribes in the Neiriz area of Kerman province circa 1880-1900. The borders capture a small piece of paradise - vases of flowers with symbolic birds atop - carriers of the soul from the earthly world to the realms of the spirit! In very good condition.1.83m x 1.42m (6' 0" x 4' 8").
