Description
This beautiful armband ('bilezik') belonged to a Tekke Turkmen woman in the Akhal Oasis of Turkmenistan around 1900. This cuff is of a large size - 5 panels high - part-gilded on silver with carnelians in table-cut.Size: 12.50cm high x 6cm dia. (5" high x 2" dia).
