Description
This charmig little trapping was, I suspect, woven to cover the head of the horse and keep flies away.Made by Qashqa'i nomads in Fars, south-west Persia circa 1900, the trapping is complete with tassels and tie-cords.
Size: 35cm x 0.08cm (1' 2" x 3") excluding tassels.
